What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a complementary medicine were the Kinesiologist uses the muscle’s response to locate stress stored in the body. Our muscles have special cells, called spindle cells; these cells switch off when we think or feel stress.
Every session is guided by the client's muscle response and becomes a journey were layers of stress are released. So every session is unique and works holistically with all levels of the body.
Kinesiology is energy medicine and can release energetic imbalances from the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual body.
How can Kinesiology help me?
Through the muscle testing, Kinesiology accesses the whole body and our subconscious mind, allowing you to get information about where your body is holding stress and what exactly is going on.
Once the stress or imbalance is identified, I use kinesiology tools to release the energetic imbalance or block in your body, bringing your body back into balance and homeostasis.
When your body is relaxed and in homeostasis, your innate healing system is activated allowing your body to rejuvenate and recharge itself.

What to expect from a Kinesiology Session?
Let me take you through a Kinesiology session: they last around 80min, with plenty of time to focus on your holistic well-being.
I take your medical history, including emotional, nutritional and lifestyle information. We’ll chat about areas of your life where you don’t feel 100% healthy and balanced. Then we focus on your main reason for this Kinesiology session. This might take around 20min.
You lie fully dressed on a massage table, and I’ll start muscle testing and stress-releasing. I’ll use your forearm to find stress in your body, but also will muscle test other muscles required. Through muscle testing, your body decides which layer of stress needs to be released first.
The energetic imprint, which gives information about what your body wants to release, can be physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. It relates to an energetic area in your body like a Chinese Medicine Meridian, a Chakra, a Flower essence or an Essential oil.
During the stress-releasing part of your session I will balance the meridian, the acupoint or the chakra so that your body can let go of the stress response. If you have a memory connected to the stress, it still will be there, but won’t trigger a stress response anymore.
This is when you feel calm, light, peaceful and might feel very still. I call this a stillpoint, when your relaxation response is activated, switching on your body’s innate healing system.
During the session, we might cover one to four of these stress-releases. Every session is unique, corresponding to your current situation.
At the end, you might take some flower essence or essential oil blend home with you, depending on what your body requires to integrate the session over the next days or weeks. You are always welcome to take a photo of your session notes.
